HOLIDAY PARTY AND GENERAL MEETING - December 6, 2007

This year we all met at Papa
Passero’s for our annual holiday party and general
membership meeting on December 6, 2007. We had quite a
few guests who came to see just how much fun we were
having. And some of them signed up to be members. We
played some really cute games like name as many
Christmas songs as you can and a trivia game with
questions about holiday happenings – for instance,
something about It’s a Wonderful Life. Some people were
real smart and they won prizes. Maybe it was Jan Lown
who won all the prizes!
MOVING OUR STORAGE UNITS - November 17, 2007

A quick move was in order. For the
past 4 or 5 years, we have enjoyed a great donation of
storage units from the LockUp on Ogden Avenue. Notice
was given that our rent would now be the regular rental
fee for each unit. The search was on for a new space to
store our props, flats and costumes. Marilyn Ludwig
found a 2+ car garage on 63rd St. in
Woodridge for rent. We grabbed it up and it is now home
to our ‘stuff’.
On November 17, a nice crew of
people showed up to make the move. It took only 3 hours
to make two trips, empty out the 3 storage units and
fill up the new space. And, it looks fairly organized.
